Teeing Up a Small T-shirt Company Presentation

Setting the tone for a presentation to students at The Illinois Institute of Art

Client:

Good Night, TV!

Audience × Intent

Our audience was students at the Illinois Institute of Art. Our intent was to set a fun tone for a career presentation and group conversation.

About the Project

Good Night, TV! was a small t-shirt company that myself and a few good friends started in 2005. Never really more than a side project, it was a fun way to make cool stuff and meet new people.

At one point, we were asked to give a presentation at The Illinois Institute of Art and speak to art students at about our company, our careers, and our general experiences since graduating from art school ourselves.

Never missing a chance to make a silly video, we thought a short animation of our designs would be a good way to set the tone upfront and begin the presentation.

Result

It did the trick, and kicked off a great conversation. And for anyone still reading this far, I included it here mostly because I thought it'd be neat to have something on my site that's 20+ years old.
